Though it described itself as ‘haunting, eerie, mystical, even at times a little frightening to those outside the shadowy half-world of the occult’, this was in fact the product of a drunken overnight jam in London by cult underground hard rockers Zior, held in the summer of 1971. A tough collection of organ and guitar-fuelled rockers, it’s sure to appeal to fan of other early 70s British proto-metallers such as Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, High Tide and Leaf Hound and others.
