This lost 1971 classic finally makes its CD debut here. Led by the aptly-named Angel, the band only made one album, but it has gone on to become one of the best-loved folk-rock albums of its time. Recorded in New York and produced by longtime Wendy Carlos collaborator Rachel Elkind, it’s a haunting collection of autoharp-led pop songs, boasting strong melodies and powerful electric guitar, and is sure to delight all fans of psychedelic folk and pop.
