The Californian duo of Greg Dempsey and Kathy Yesse combined their talents with those of producer Leon Russell and musicians including legendary guitarist Jesse Ed Davis and long-term Eric Clapton sideman Carl Radle to create this stunningly original psych-pop classic in 1968. Combining knockout hooks with gorgeous female vocals and truly unexpected studio tricks, it was perhaps too bizarre to connect with the mass audience it deserved first time around, and makes its long-overdue CD debut here.
